About
Commercial HVAC support, delivered properly
Planned maintenance, breakdown support and replacement projects on live commercial sites — with the same engineers who service the plant attending when it fails.
What we do
KILM Ltd installs, services and maintains air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration plant for commercial and industrial clients. Most of the work is concentrated around Birmingham, Solihull and the West Midlands, and we support multi-site clients across the wider UK.
The business has always covered both air conditioning and refrigeration. For hotels and commercial kitchens in particular that means one contractor for comfort cooling, ventilation, cellar cooling and refrigeration rather than three.
How we work
Planned maintenance is documented properly, with asset registers and F-Gas records kept current. Reactive calls come back with readings and a written explanation, not “topped up with gas”. When plant is past economic repair we say so, and price the replacement against the cost of continuing to call it in.
Most new sites come from clients whose previous maintenance had slipped — missing paperwork, deferred remedials and plant nobody had properly looked at in years. Getting those sites back under control is the core of what we do.
